It was a headshot session unlike any I had experienced in my history as a photographer. An actor can channel so many emotions. He went through a range of emotions for every burst of my camera - smiling, wider, bigger, laughing, shy, subdued, concerned, worried, sad, angry, upset, distraught, lost, found, relief, exhaustion, joy. As a photographer, I help my clients walk through their emotions, but an actor can bring the emotion, create a feeling, and express it through the slightest change in their thoughts. We took nearly 400 photos in an hour. He had to choose 7 that represented the types of roles he wanted to have. It will be fun to say I knew him in this phase of his acting career.
